Hey all!
I just got engaged last Friday (yay!) and we are beginning our planning right away. I'm from the NW Suburbs of Chicago and I'm planning on wearing my mom's wedding dress for my day. I've always loved it, but it has the 80s sleeves (ya know, shoulder puff) and I'm looking to have them removed and make the dress into a tank-style dress. I was wondering if any of you are from Chicago or the surrounding suburbs and could recommend a good dressmaker or place to take the dress to get these alterations done!
