help needed finding a great hair/make up professional

Hi Everyone,
I am looking for someone that does hair and make up around the Sandown, NH area that is not going to cost me a fortune to do my bridesmaids as well as my hair and makeup.  I am getting married at Zorvino Vineyards, and I have been quoted at over 1K by 2 places.  Is this reasonable, I just feel that is super high?
I have 4 bridesmaids as well as myself and I would like to have my mother and mother in-laws hair done.

    I'm from the MA/NH border area, and i don't think that 1K is too out of line for a salon. If you think about it, your hair will be  $100 +, with $75+ for each person. That's only $550. Then when you add makeup @ $60 each thats just under 1K. Then there's the tip. Then if the people are traveling to you, thats probably another fee. And that's just an average salon, not even a top-shelf-spa

    I suggest that you do makeup DIY for everyone but you and see if you can DIY some of their hair too (if possible).
