Sweating buckets!

So, I totally sweat to the point where I could be in Antartica and still sweat like I am in the Sahara! I have used those supposed clinical protection deodorants and find that they just don't work for me! I fear that on my wedding day I will sweat so bad...I will drip from my armpits lol! Any suggestions? The craziest one I have heard by my best friend was botox haha!

seriously, people swear by botox for your underarm sweat glands... idk how it would work for you, but but i used to have the same problem and it was recommended to me too. i never did it, but the sweating eventually just kind of stopped.
actually, when i cleaned up my diet it really did the trick - now i only get like that during extremely stressful situations, but rarely. you may want to think about that - someone mentioned that bad carbs and processed stuff actually was the cause.

i feel for you - hope you find a solution!

i used to have this problem as a teenager, it was awful- i couldnt even wear fitted tees without major sweat marks. i tried everything Rx, OTC stuff and finally started using Certain Dri roll-on. It burns if you use it after shaving. You use it before bedtime and it doesnt wash off in the shower. I still used regular deoderant/antiperspirant the next day. initally you can use it daily, then taper off for a few months until you don't need it anymore. This is nothing like the Secret Cinical Strength or other OTC stuff. Not to sound cheesy, but it really made a huge difference in my life until I outgrew sweating. If it doesn't work, get Botox about a week before the wedding. Almost all insurance covers it because oversweating is a medical condition- hyperhidrosis.

Oh dear! I feared it would be a medical condition! I remember freaking out and making sure I only wore dark shirts in case I sweated!

My horror story was working at Panera bread. I was nervous cause I just started and they wanted me to wear button up shirts and I wore a khaki colored one and when I used the bathroom I had a huge pit stain running down the sides of my shirt almost to the tail of it! HORRIFYING!

If it isn't covered by insurance, how much does it typicall cost out of pocket?

The cost they quoted me is approximately $500 for the Botox itself and then whatever the specialist chooses to charge for their time, usually anywhere from free - another $500.00.
