I'm DIYing my wedding makeup. I've been practicing and I've got it mostly down...except I just wasn't sure about the lips. I read on here about lip stains and thought they sounded pretty perfect. I picked one up today and tried it out. It seemed perfect...until it rubbed off while I was eating ice cream. I'm not sure if it just really doesn't stay on all that long, or if I made some rookie mistake. I put lip gloss on over it right after putting it on (perhaps I should wait???) and I ate ice cream soon after that. Should I wait for a certain period of time prior to putting anything else on my lips? Any other tips for getting it to stay?
