I'm so confused... Are gel manicures and gel polish the same? I get gel manicures... is the stuff they use the same as gel polish? I don't get the colored stuff, and the first time i got the gel manicure they put tips on (now it's my natural nail... I think) and it's thick. Isn't the gel polish just like nail polish that doesn't really chip? And what's the difference between that and Shellac? Doesn't seem like many places have Shellac.
