Hi beautiful brides! I need help with my dad and daughter dance. My biological dad died almost 6 years ago, and my mom got married about 2 years ago to my wonderful step dad who is giving me away and is dancing with me during the dad/daughter dance. I have 2 things I need help with.
First, after my dad passed, I was blessed to never be without some type of father figure being there when I needed a dad. Sometimes it was one of my best friends dads, sometimes it was my uncle, my grandfather, ect. If I had the choice, I'd dance with them all, but I'd be dancing all night. Would it be tacky for me to do a thank you speak to those who were a dad to me before my dance?
Second, does anyone know any songs that would be appropriate for a step dad/ daughter dance? Thanks!
