FI and I are about to get our wedding bands. His will be a plain 5mm, and I'm having a 4mm sprinkled with scattered diamonds, based on the look of Etienne Perret's "starlight" bands --

Considerations: I have a very active lifestyle, with lots of sports and outdoor activities, so I worry about scratches. Swim 3 times/week in a chlorinated pool, so I worry about chemicals. I like low-maintenance, unfussy things, so worry about rhodium-redipping. Etc.
Opinions? Suggestions? What are your rings made of and how do you like the metal? Does it work with your lifestyle?
