My family is very Norwegian, and I would like to incorporate some traditions into our wedding. From what I've read, it looks like a traditional Norwegian wedding is very similar to a typical American wedding so I'm not sure what I could do to honor my heritiage. My FI's family doesn't celebrate their heritage like we do, so we're focusing on his Southern upbringing instead by having red velvet cake, pecan pie and lots of sweet tea. Does anyone know of any traditions we could use? Any suggestions would be appreciated!
