We were out shopping one day and I came across this item called Unity Sand. We are Catholic and it is tradition to light a unity candle during our ceremony. I fell in love with the unity sand. I thought it would be a nice neat new tradition to start. We both have children from previous relationships and I want to display our "unity" and I'd be heartbroken if our unity candle was broken, however my thought was if the unity sand holder was broken we could alway vaccuum it up and put it in something else and we'd still have it. My husband to be is set on the candle. What can we do to compromise here?
