Is it rude to make your guests wait between the ceremony and reception?
My parents want us to have the reception immidiatly following the ceremony, b/c out of town guests will have "nothing to do".
But we want to have a 2 hour break between the ceremony and reception to get pictures and enjoy time with our bridal party.
The ceremony will end at 3pm and the cocktail hour will start at 5pm. Is that so bad?
We have been to numerous weddings where we had a gap between the two locations. Is it really that big of a deal?
