Has anybody been to or had a wedding in the Hidalgo Ballroom at the Westin Riverwalk? It's the smaller one upstairs behind the staircase. I was told it would hold up to 180 people for a sit-down dinner, but I really think it's going to be too cramped in there. We also need to make room for a dance floor, and none of the photos I've seen show a dance floor.
Please share you experiences with this ballroom. We're about to book it, but I want to be absolutely sure that everyone will be comfortable inside. If not, I may think about upgrading to the bigger Navarro Ballroom.
