Of course there are hot button issues that will get people riled up and defensive.
That said, if you post with an overall tone of superiority or intellect, you're not going to win any awards.
The logic of "You started it" will never hold as a legitimate line of defense.
Sometimes you may think that your experience is the way things should be when in fact, that's actually proper etiquette. Please understand that there is a difference. Personal experience is not a substitute for proper etiquette.
And if you continue to stir the pot and make insinuations to other posters about THEIR intelligence, you're walking a fine line and you may find yourself banned.
