Looking for qipao in Texas

Hi Ladies,

Does anyone know a place that makes custom qipaos in Dallas or Houston?

    If you are in Houston, I'd say your best bet is to visit the Chinatown area (probably the Hong Kong food market) as they have tons of stores with Asian-style dresses there.  I'm sure you can find what you're looking for or somewhere in the Chinatown area (Bellaire street).  Good luck! :)

    There is a Mrs. Tsai in the Chinatown area in the neighborhood directly south of Diho market about 1 street south of Bellaire but parallel to it.  She makes custom qipaos for the Miss Houston Chinatown contestants every year.  Her workshop was in her home.  She made my qipao, and it fit me to a T.  Here are two phone numbers that I have for her from 2007.  832-857-3000 (cell) and 713-981-9566 (home).  Good luck and congratulations.
