Chuppah Poles

For those of you who have made a chuppah (or even those that didn't) how tall were your chuppah poles? My aunt is making my chuppah and we were having this discussion...I was thinking 7 feet...what do you think? How tall were yours?

8 feet, to accomodate God, who I understand is quite tall. Em
