Thursday Checks

I don't have any checks, I've only got a few more things to do for dinner, but that's this weekend.

Today is my last day of work until July!

Finished assembling all of the program fans! Just need to add ribbon to about 6 more and round the corners of 30 of them.... WOO HOO!!!

EXCITING!!!! I have 4 days left of work until I am off for the wedding.....we are finally SO close!!

I know. I am dying here! I have so much to do but I just have no drive to do it.

I just remembered a few things:
Take my ring to be cleaned and re-dipped
Dentist Appt Monday
Picking up MOH on Monday
Checking flowers on Monday
Rehearsal and RD on Monday
Assemble the favors
Pack my bags
Can't forget the gifts!
Pick up rings and dress on Monday

So, I do have a lot of stuff left.
I think I will do the favors with MOH after RD to occupy myself.
Dang. I need to make a day by day list

So far this week:

-Painted all the triangles for our different banners and sewed together

-Put labels and twine around our favors

-Had our food tasting and final meeting at our venue to confirm everythig - food is going to  be delicious!!

-Confirmed all details for Reheasal dinner (another Yum!)

-Confirmed delivery times, etc. with all our vendors

-Designed tags and welcome letter for our hotel baskets

Left to do:

-Print out ceremony programs/direction cards (tonight)

-Print out escort card tags and tie to cotton bolls (tomorrow)

-Write menu on our mirror (tomorrow)

-Final dress fitting (tomorrow)

-Put together family wedding photo display (saturday)

-Put together hotel baskets (saturday)

-Decide on set-up for bourbon bar/make labels for different types (saturday)

-We're also going to decide where we're doing our first look and taking pre-ceremony photos on Saturday along with a few other errands

The only thing I'm doing next week is taking our stuff to the reception venue!! So ready to be done!!

Finishing up last minute to do's!

-Guest "book" was finished today
-Ring bearer book was put together
-Envelopes made up for all vendors
-Lunch with OOT aunt in law visiting from England
-Nail appt for shellac manicure
-Eyebrow waxing
-Buying bottled water for reception
-Buying floral tape for DIY flowers (which arrive today!)
-Buying umbrellas because it's going to rain

We had our rehersal last night boy our priest is like a major in the military LOL He set the ground rules no gum chewing in the church I was happy he said this one haha. I also brought my dress back to seamstress it was fine, she re steamed it I took it to my parents house. I bought a few bathroom basket items. Just have to buy the rest : Two more days!!!

* Still need a preset for my mom, nothing seems nice enough

Today I'm meeting with my wedding coordinator for the last time before the big day.  I have to bring her all the stuff, so last night I was running around like a crazy trying to get together the guest book, table numbers, escort cards, favors, etc. 

I just found out that we have to have the entree choice on the back of the escort card, so that'll be a lot of fun to rush to do that between work & our meeting tonight.

Everything is paid off! Tomorrow is my last (and its only a half) day of work until July 9th!

Yet to do: poems for BM kits, make cards for WP, wrap GM, PA, parent & reader gifts, make signs for seating and other misc things, pot plans for ceremony decor, complete timeline for WP, drop of ring for soldering & resizing, print of lists for day of, pick up a few more white lights and tissue paper packs, final meeting with DJ, buy gift for officiant and wrap, cut placemats for centerpieces.

Congrats Martelle!!!

I just picked up 40 glow necklaces from teh dollar store.... they are super long packages.... and they cant stay in the hot car so I had to lug them into work... I kind of feel dumb.

We had our rehearsal today, followed by a wonderful BBQ dinner at my parents' house. If the wearther holds, we'll be here again tomorrow with twice as many people for our reception!
