Please help me pick...

a salad. I know it's simple, but you know we brides make mountains out of molehills every day. I can't decide which salad to pick for our reception. Which would you prefer?

The choices are:

Option 1: House salad w/ House dressing
Option 2: Caesar Salad w/ Caesar dressing
Option 3: Spinach Salad w/ Raspberry vinaigrette

The dressings are not set in stone, but these are what I think would go best. I have to discuss with her if options will be given so just vote based of these for now please.

Spinach with raspberry - feels more special than house and some people don't like caesar b/c of the anchovies in the dressing.

I love spinach salads but not fond of vinaigrette but if I have to choose it would be #3!!

I like #3 too...if not spinach then a Spring mix (that has some spinach as well as other greens)

I think 1 because you really can't go wrong with that, but 3 because it sounds delish and different... and cause I'm hungry! lol

This. Caesar also has bacon in it sometimes. I know way too many non-pork eaters.

That's a hard choice because you can never go wrong with #1 but #3 sounds like a wedding type salad because it's different!

I agree with the ladies #3 sound yummy, but #1 would be the most overall appealing.

Im such a spinach girl. If the hubby would let me, I would have it with every meal. So my pick is definitely # 3.

Maybe if we were going through a commercial caterer (i.e. hotel) I would consider. However, although she is a professional, our caterer is more of a private caterer and she has offered us the choice of one salad in the package that we've selected. It isn't important enough to me to add additional work for the servers and for myself. It is a great idea though...I think there will be options at the rehearsal dinner where we have a buffet style and fewer people.

i would say get something that most people like and will eat, since you're paying mainly for the guests. Stick with the simple ceasar like I'm doing

You can always ask the caterer/venue chef to prepare a special salad for you.
