    @DFW - You'll get them done, it's surprising what you can do when you're on a deadline :)

    How was your b-party? I hope you had fun!

    This week I only hope to not lose my mind.

    It was wonderful!! The day was just filled with wonderfulness. I didn't have the turn out I hoped for, but I understand people were busy that weekend. It was my two sisters, one of my cousins, and one of my best friends the whole time. We had a couple friends come for different stuff through out the day.

    What is going on this week?

    I second  Raangoli - you'll get the invites done,; just set aside an hour, and see how far you go :)

    Yay for your b-party!

    What's new this week  -- I'm looking at outfits on exclusively.in this week (they call it wedding week), but I'm interested in getting some saris that I can get and have the blouse tailored before I go to India in a few months!!  I've also started looking for some shoes, that will be destroyed when I go... and looking for things to do, tours and such to see the nature of the country :)

    Don't worry, I'm definitely keeping myself busy!

    Shoe recommendations:  Look at Keds.  They are inexpensive, canvas (breathable), don't look too weird with silwar kameez, and have really flat soles.  Mine were not at all destroyed by either city or village in India.  They can also go in the washing machine.

    I also buy this type Skechers every spring.  Here, I can wear them on many days from about May til October.  They were great in India and are not expensive.  They don't last me more than a season usually, but I do wear them a lot.

    Glad your b-party turned out well:) And I'm sure you'll get the invitations done.

    My plans... well, today I have planned to get laundry done after our counseling appointment and midwife appointment. But a thunderstorm kept waking me up last night (Kidlet, surprisingly, didn't wake up once even with all the thunder), and the half-hour nap I intended to take kinda turned into TWO and a half hours. Oops. So laundry had to wait till after I got Kidlet from school.

    This week is more of the usual, but we need to
    * bomb the house for bugs (I'm not bringing a baby into a house full of cockroaches. Just not doing it.)
    * arrange stuff in the kids' room because it didn't happen last week like I'd hoped it would.
    * make dog food

    Thanks Temurlang - I'll look into it :) I remember my love for Sketchers, just haven't been wearing them since my college days, so I need to rekindle that love :)
