Help! I'm an American marrying into an Indian family and will host my first mehendi party for our upcoming wedding. Several of the women who will attend the party have small children, and I'm wondering if children are generally included at mehendi parties or if they're considered "girls night" type of events.
If kids are usually invited, how can I tactfully let guests know to leave them at home?We live in a loft that is not child-proofed and I'm concerned that a child will slip through the bars on the second story.
