nyc area make up artists

does anyone have any recs for a high end make up artist in the nyc/nj area?  do not want someone who goes overboard (i.e. neon eye shadow colors, too much glitter, etc.) and a lot of the indian make up artists seem to.  did any other south asian brides out there use american make up artists?

    susmita seems impossible to get a hold of...i've emailed her 3x and called but her mailbox is full.  i will try the other rec on here too - thanks!
    anyone have experience with kc or nina doshi?  and why are south asian make up artists so much more expensive than non-SA ones??  it's crazy how big a difference there is in pricing (ie most of the people on the nymag make up artist list are <1k and include bridal party looks too!)

    Have you guys tried Arianna seth? she just did my makeup and I was in awe! completely changed the way I looked. she has a great personality and she is very sweet and Paris trained and on the pricier side but totally totally worth it.
