I just wanted to share the news in case you haven't heard yet:

Federal judge ruled this afternoon that California's Proposition 8 is unconstitutional.

I just hope this survives the appeals process.  The idea of that case going to the current Supreme Court is scary.

</div><div>I think it's really messed up that Prop 8 passed at all, frankly. How can a government justify putting up for a vote something which limits the civil rights of any group in society? Like if you took out the word gay and replaced it with, idk, black, Hispanic, or Italian there would have been rioting in the streets! </div>

i'm from argentina, don't know if u heared but gay marrige was made law on july 14th of this year, so hope the same happends in the us and the rest of the countries soon!
