Hi!
I just got back into town after doing our legal ceremony in CT. We drove up to Greenwich, CT on Thursday. It took 10 minutes to file our license. The clerk congratulated us and told us the license would be ready the next day. We went back friday and our officiant met us at town hall and conducted our ceremony. The ceremony was pretty basic since our wedding is this Sunday.
Our officiant was $75. We went downstairs and got our certified copy ($20) and had a celebratory lunch with our NJ family. I was so nervous the process would be difficult. It was so easy!
Now to stay calm for the wedding Sunday with all of our friends and family in NC!
