Last fall, H and I noticed a new frozen yogurt place opening near his apartment. We thought it was odd that they'd open a frozen yogurt shop just as it was starting to get cold, but whatev.

H teaches an entrepreneurship course at the university, and one of his students decided to interview the owners of this fro-yo shop for an assignment.

Turns out, the owners are from California. They were surprised at how slow business was for the first 6 months - they didn't expect the weather to get that cold!

aww, I would still eat frozen yogurt this time of year haha, hopefully they'll be pleasantly surprised once spring returns.

Snicker. There's an ice cream place at Bloor and Spadina that I'm constantly amazed is packed!

Talk about not really taking your business too seriously.. Like really, its Canada. We're known for having very cold winters.

We have a Marble Slab Creamery on our (soon-to-be-former) block and the only time we can stand to go there is in the colder months.

All other times it's lined up out the door.  Redic.
