Kind of new I guess :)

All my searches for wedding ideas have led me here so I've decided to make an account. (Well I actually had an account in 2010 when one of my friends were getting married but I don't even remember the email for that...)

Anyways, I'm Maggie. I'm marrying my best friend Kurt on either May 2, 3, 4, 2014. We just can't decide!

We are planning a traditional wedding at the church I grew up in. I  want a dress that mimics my grandmother's wedding gown in some aspects. Her's and my mother's both had lace sleeves and high necklines with the buttons down the back. Ahh...Just imagining it makes my heart flutter. Basically, I'm going to look like a lady straight from the 1900's :)

We are also planning for an outdoor wedding. I wanted the theme color to be pink but with my name and everything it just reminded me too much of the movie Steel Magnolias so I'm not leaning towards the pink anymore.

    I'm an LPN right now but we have decided once we are married and have a child I will stay home with him/her until they start school. FI and his younger brother own their own construction company.

    Not at this point in time with the wedding and remodeling our future home. But I do want to go back and get it before we start having children. I just imagine it to be harder once the babies come :)

    Greetings... Actually I think a Steel Magnolia wedding would be awesome I love that movie... :)

    I am a CNA going for RN...and praying I dont have to break from school to have a kid... it it happens it happens.. :P

    My middle name is Magnolia. I go by Maggie. I hate it. Lol my older sister's middle name is Rose. My mother just had to keep the flower names I guess. It's terrible. So I thought it would be weird when everyone compared my wedding to that of Steel Magnolia.
