I just found out that the manager at the place I applied hasn't gotten to my resume yet (I guess it's a combination of heavy workload and a decent number of applicants). It's only been a week, and supposedly sometimes it takes longer. Also, they are looking to fill 7 positions, and I still have that connection through a friend from college, so I feel like that gives me some reason to hope.
Please keep praying that God will grant me an opportunity at this job, and patience until that happens.
