We have some new people join our board recently so let's share a little bit about ourselves to get more familiar with everyone.

I've been here a while.  I'm Jenn, and I like lists.

1. Wedding date: June 4, 2011

2. School/work: I'm getting a doctorate in education.  I'm only taking two class this semester, but they're keeping me really busy.

3. Fav. TV shows: loving the new Netflix series House of Cards!

4. Most recently read book: Sarah's Key.  My whole book club loved it. You won't be able to put it down!

5. How you met FI/DH: We met in undergrad.  We'd had physics and mythology together second semester junior year.  I did community service with his roommate, who was also in our mythology class, which is how we ended up talking.  The funny thing is, we recently realized that we were both in the same 80 person genetics class as freshmen AND sat really close to each other!

1. Wedding date: June 16, 2012

2. School/work: full time job: athletic trainer for a high school. I am getting really burnt out with this job and praying a new door opens for me at the end of the school year. Part time jobs: cashier at Cracker Barrel and receptionist for Weight Watchers

3. Fav. TV shows: Scandal and Greys anantomy

4. Most recently read book: Weight of Silence

5. How you met FI/DH: he was roommates with my brother at college. Met one summer when we all met up with another of their roommates for a fun day on the lake. we hit it off instantly.

1. Wedding date:  Sometime this year... summer/fall.
2. School/work: full time job:  I did 3 years of psychology/history before transfering to Bible college. Took 4 years of Bible and theology, philosophy, and elementary education.
3. Fav. TV shows:  Big Bang Theory and a few shows on PBS. Downton Abbey.
4. Most recently read book:  JK Galbraith "The New Industrial State". For a class I'm taking at church this week.
5. How you met: We met 3 years ago in a philosophy class at church on Soren Kierkegaard. We were friends and hung out in groups for almost a year before he started actively pursuing me last Jan. He had a good job, but wasn't in his career field and wanted to have all that ready before he pursued a wife. We had to compromise. Last July 3rd things became official. We've been talking about marriage for awhile and went to a Love and Respect conference in Nov, and now are doing premariatal counseling in our church.

1. Wedding date:  September 14, 2013
2. School/work: full time job:  Insurance Agent, part time preschool teacher/Mpact leader (Rainbows!).  
3. Fav. TV shows:  Once upon a Time, The New Girl, Glee (and a few more, but those are current top three)
4. Most recently read book:  Don't have time to read much, but when I do make the time, it's my bible.
5. How you met: 6 years ago at a NYE Party we both were dragged to at the last minute.  I was actually there to help my friend hook up with his brother, but him and I ended up hitting it off, and have been going strong ever since.

2. School/work: Right now I am drag on society and a full time student  I'm getting a degree in Linguistics and Comparative Literature.  

3. Fav. TV shows: Doctor Who, NCIS, Sherlock, The Big Bang Theory

4. Most recently read book: I have been reading a bunch of rather crappy books for free on my kindle.  Most of which I am embarrassed to admit I am reading.  Right now for class I am currently reading Dante's Purgatory and I just finished Inferno.  

5. How you met FI/DH: We met at a mutual friends Birthday party in HS.  We flirted heavily and I didn't see him again for a month.  I ended up taking a college class with his BFF who was texting him when I walked into class.  I am such a flirt, so I proceeded to flirt with him over text through this other guy until this guy gave H my number.  We went on a date the next day

6. Hobby/favorite activity:  I love horses and I wish I had more time to ride right now.

1. Wedding date: Oct 26, 2013

2. School/work: I work full-time for a general contractor based in ATL. I'm in the field (so I'm on project sites) and people often ask if I'm somehow attached to the military because of how much I move. (Hopefully going to change that soon...)

3. Fav. TV shows: Bones, HIMYM, NCIS, Gilmore Girls (FH & I watched the ENTIRE series together. it was awesome.)

4. Most Recently read book: Oh gosh. I'm challenging myself to read at LEAST 26 books this year (I was about 20 short of last years goal of 52...) and I've already read 4. I'm currently reading "The Girl in the Gatehouse" by Julie Klassen.

5. How you met FH/DH: Long story short, his younger brother introduced us.

6. Hobby/favorite activity: Crafty things!! I'm DIYing most of our wedding. (all the decorations and what-not)

I'm gonna add one more...

7. Something exciting that's going on in your life (besides getting married!): I think I'm going to open up an Etsy store.

2. School/work: full time job: Part time job at my church, I don't like it... at all. But I'm grateful to be employed at present.

3. Fav. TV shows: I have far too many.

4. Most recently read book: I'm currently reading 'House Rules' by Jodie Picoult.

5. How you met FI/DH: We met on a night out, he was a friend of a friend, he gave me his coat and a goodnight kiss and from then I was pretty much sold.
