    Went and picked up my "certified copy" of the marriage certificate.
    Went to the DOL and got my new plates/tabs.
    Asked how to switch the car from my mom to me as a "gift" with POA in hand. She told me I need to get my new license with my new name and bring the old and new with the poa and she can do it no problem.
    DMV is closed on Mondays.. *sigh* so I shall have to wait until tomorrow.. Are ALL DMVs closed on Mondays? :(
    Oh well at least I got the first couple things done.

    ETA: I checked.. the only place that is open near me today doesn't do the EDL. DARN it!! Guess I have to wait until tomorrow *sigh*.
