Favors are in the works!!

So with all the other stuff that we need to do for the wedding, I've been holding off on making our favors, but I FINALLY ordered our cotton drawstring favor baggies yesterday, and I am going to a couple of craft stores to find a cool stamp to stamp with them, and then we'll start filling them!!  I am so glad I'm getting a slight head start on these...I am such a procrastinator, and I definitely didn't want to be up til 3AM the night before the wedding making favors!!  Woo hoo for us!!

Nice, I can't wait to do ours.  We are doing personalized Hershey bars.  But I am not ordering the wrappers or buying the bars until we start getting invites back (or at least until teh RSVP date comes).  I don't want to be left with tons of bars

Totally agree!  We are giving Jordan Almonds (I'm from Jordan) and Peanut M&M's (FI'sfave candy) in small drawstring cloth bags that I'm going to stamp with a cute stamp

we have lindor truffles, ghiradelli chocolates (dark chocolate with strawberry), cherry M&Ms, swedish fish, red lollipops, starburst, cinnamon candies, etc (lots of red candy)

luckily, all of our candy is stashed in Ohio and we are in Florida, so no chance of snacking! *whew*

I wanted to have a cheese station @ the wedding, but aside from the budget restraints, I realized I probably wouldn't mingle or talk to anyone because I'd be stuffing my face with cheese all night!

Their prices are really reasonable, and they make the almonds fresh for your event...they don't deliver them until about 30 days before your event, unless you specify otherwise.  For 13 lbs. of it, which is what I'll need to give the customary 5 per guest, we're looking at about $50, which is the cheapest I've found so far. 

I'm a big time bargain hunter, so the search is still on, and I probably won't order them until about end of September

We are doing girl scout cookies, i wanted to do something cute, and i am a life time girl scout member, and i volunteer with them, so i thought cookies would be great! they have been stashed in my parents freezer for months!

We're going to do roman candy and my mawmaw's pralines. We were also thinking about including Hubig's pies, but the factory burned down yesterday.
