I have little inspiration right now.. sadly.. I think that's why I'm in an education slump.. I'm just hating college right now and I hate that I am hating it -_- oi.

California.. with my feet between the sand again.. Oh man that brings me to tears.. I just have been so stressed.. and I LOVE fi but he gets to travel NONSTOP. he went to tokyo for two weeks, then san diego, then texas, spent a lot of deployment in europe.. It's just killing me.. I love him so much but it's hard not to be a little resentful when I'm stuck here while he travels  when I GREW UP travelling like crazy in Europe.. I feel so locked up and domesticated

No.. *sigh*.. another rant I won't get into

Tulips... yup. They are beautiful, but omfg people stop being such a-holes over tulips.. that's nice that you travells hundreds of miles to see them. now get out of my way.

That's a tricky one to ask me.. because I used to live in Europe.. sooooooo... idk how to answer this one lol I guess from Seattle to Latvia? THat would be the farthest which is about halfway around the world latitudenally

It would be my Sophomore year of high school because I had awesome friends, lived it up in Germany (since that's where I was going to school) and had awesome classes with awesome extra ciriculars.. I also got my black belt that year.. yup.. good good year

Buffy.. and I would be buffy.. because angel is soooooo hott   haha

something brilliant like a mathematical or genetic discovery. That way it would go into the books, but I would be screamed at on a day to day basis by "fans" like celebrities are haha

Mascara. I can't not. I just feel naked without it, although I'm sure I'm just fine without it.. safety blanket I guess

The sauna at my gym really helps with stress.. I hate the heat, but I can feel it body wise, which is important. Zoning out to The Office is also helpful

Nature.

* IIIIII wanna rock and roll all niiiiight... and party every day!!!! * Because i'm a goofball and I dont want to play some sappy sh!t. I want people to take shots of whiskey and laugh about stuff I said or did "back in the day".

Getting a massage in an air conditioned bar. Because my back is KILLING me, it's hotter than hell outside, and I need a drink.

My fur kids' are a Boston Terrier named Baxter and an English Bulldog called The Duchess of Pork. I'm a freak about them, I talk for them and have conversations with myself for them (as well as talk to FI/"daddy" for them, he does the same) and they generally light up my life every day. I miss them when I'm gone, even if for a day, and they are weirdos just like their mommy & daddy.

Yes!  I have a 1 1/2 year old Chihuahua/Toy Fox Terrier mix.  His name is Conan, and I love him to pieces!!!

My Grandparents, they have been married for 60+ years... when I was a kid, I would look up to them both so much! All I wanted was to meet someone like my Grandpa.... Lucky me, I now have my fantastic FI!!!

I have a cat, his name is Thor.  He is our child! He is a pain in the behind, but he is our child!!!

well... we had a well known serial killer who worked and lived in the area.... I know its great isn't it?? Scary stuff! I live in a great town!!!

Well considering I have lived here for 18 years no, which is a majority of my life, I guess this would be considered my home town.... Jimi Hendrix grew up here, and is buried here!

I walked by a news camera... does that count? I am in the grocery industry and we were voting to authorize a strike.... and FI and I walked past a news camera.

I haven't really travelled, but one time I went to some po-dunk town in Oregon to meet my ex bf's daughter.... But I am going to be going to Disneyland in a week! To meet my future MIL.... yay!!!

Here is Mocha sitting on top of a bookshelf. She likes to hang out in the most random of places. She is very fat, and sleeps like 20 hours a day.


This handsome heartbreaker is Mr. Skittles, Don't let the cuteness fool you, he was running around my feet and tripped me while I was walking down the stairs in my apartment, luckily I just ended up with a few bruises, a couple cuts and a sore shoulder. uh, he can be such a softy though.




Mocha again, and I know Checkers is not a fur baby. But I think for a goldfish he's pretty cool, and for a  while Mocha used to try to attack him, but for some reason she couldn't make it through the glass. so she just would sit and watch him swim around his take. fun times.

All year awesome weather. I'm from SoCal. Hometown was nicknamed "America's Finest City" not sure if you've heard of it? hah

Once, on some local news. I was like 4 and I was in the shot when my brothers hockey team was being filmed.

8)  Where is the farthest you have been from home--where were you and why were you there?
Upstate New York. I was 8. It was for a family reunion. My dad's uncle owned some property there.

9)  If you could travel back in time to any period in history when would it be and why?
I would like to grow up in my parents generation, people were inspired, and the music was just FANTASTIC.

"The Office"  because there are so many things about my office that would make you say "WTF" oh and "How I Met Your Mother" because that story is just awesome.

Harry Potter- Been reading them for about 10 years now, why ever stop?
In Defense of Food  by Michael Polan- It is a great read about food and health,
Something Borrowed- I don't know why, just I just loved it. It is an awesome read for just lounging out in the sun, it's pretty mindless. But I couldn't put it down!

Check the faucets for running water... A few months ago I left the sink running and then got in the shower. It was only on for 10 minutes but it flooded the vanity, lucking the water just ended up in the drawers and never made it to the floor so it was easy to clean/ dry. but ever since I have been terrified that I will flood the entire place.

15)  Did you ever 'run away' as a child/teen, if so where did you go?
Yes. As a child I would just run around the corner from my house, I was too scared to leave my block. As a teen I would always go to my best friends house, since she only lived a half mile from me.

Mindless comedy. I love watching Anchorman, or the Hangerover. or The Ofiice, or even Top Gear (the British version!!).

The Duchess of Cambridge, I would love to travel. not to mention Prince William is kind of dreamy. Although, I have a weird thing for redheads, so I always thought that Prince Harry was hot.

I'd say my Grandfather who held onto his beliefs and never waivered, but also because of how much of a caring and compassionate person he was.

Chris Cornell's Ava Maria - I think it's such a wonderful version of the song.   

3)  If you could be ANYWHERE right now where would it be & why?
In Bed, because I could really go without working today.  It's been a long week.

4)  Do you have any pets? Tell about them:)
We have 4.  2 cats, 2 dogs.  The cats are Mischief and Hijinx (Jinx for short) and are both black DSH.  I've had Mischief since I graduated high school and got Jinx several years later.  They flew out here from MD when I moved.  Mischief is an attention slut, whereas Jinx hides so much we call her the elusive Jinx cat and declare we have 1 1/2 cats.
  Our 2 dogs are Poe, a black lab/weimaraner mix (he's smaller - about 50lbs and short.) who is very laid back and everyone wants to keep him he's so easy going and a good dog.  Then we have our relationship dog, August, who is a German Shepard/Lab mix.  He's 80lbs of puppy.  He's very sweet, sometimes doesn't know his own size, and can go either way from being full of energy to calm and lazy.  Most people don't believe us that he can be calm and lazy though.

5)  What is your (current) city most commonly known for?
Renton - we've got a Boeing Factory and Jimmy Hendrix's Grave

6)  What is your hometown most commonly known for?
Not much, Lockheed Martin was there and IBM as well.  It was the location of Maryland's earthquake last year.

7)  Have you ever been on tv? If yes, for what? If no, would you want to be?
I did a TV show in high school where I was the announcer, a clip of me was shown when they said my name.  I may have been other times, but nothing earth shattering.

8)  Where is the farthest you have been from home--where were you and why were you there?
I went to Austria/Germany as a family vacation when I was younger (11 or 13, I can't recall.)  After this would be Ireland, which I've been to twice, on vacation. 

9)  If you could travel back in time to any period in history when would it be and why?
I think this would entirely depend on what I was able to do and what station I was in should I travel back.  You experience so many different things from different levels of society in history.

10)  If you could turn any tv show into 'real life' and be a part of it, what show would it be and why?

I might just say Gossip Girl - because Chuck and Blair are kind of awesome in their scheming.  If not that, then Criminal Minds - while it is a real faction of the FBI, I would love to be part of that team.


11)  Name 3 books that you could read over and over again & tell why.
I'm honestly not much of a reader.  The book my Grandmother made for me: Grandmother Remembers is one of them because I love to re-learn all of the tid-bits of information she gave me.  A collection of Poe's works is another, and probably the book of Frost's poetry that was my Grandfather's because I feel connected to him when I read it.

12)  If you could become famous, what would you want to be famous for and why?
I don't think I would want to be famous, but if I did it would probably be for writing.

13)  What movie no matter how many times you see it always makes you cry?
Life as a House

14)  What one thing do you ALWAYS do before you leave the house & why do you do it?
If no one will be home: make sure the dogs are in their kennels.  If I'm leaving and the FI is home, say good bye (usually with a kiss)

15)  Did you ever 'run away' as a child/teen, if so where did you go?
I went to my best friend's house in the next neighborhood over - suitcase and all.

16)  How do calm yourself when things in life are stressful?
I usually don't until it's passed, but probably mindless TV.

17)  If you could trade places with anyone in the world, who would it be?
No one - I am who I am and I like that: faults and all.  Sure there are aspects of others I'd like to have, but I paved my own path to being who I am today and I'm proud of it.

18)  Do you still go "school clothes shopping?" (Shopping around the time kids in school shop for new school clothes; July/August/September)  Even if you aren't a student anymore.

No, I hate shopping.  I'm in and out in less than 10 minutes - and it's only when I need something.

Nope.

20)  Do you have any weekend plans?

Homework and seeing the FI's Cousin (and best man) sing.
