A girl at my work had to put her dog down this AM.

(How she is even here is beyond me)

I remember you Googled a lot after your loss of Dogzilla. Did you ever find anything that provided any comfort?

i still cry thinking about that dog.

that rainbow bridge poem helped. it made me cry so hard, but thinking about her fat body having the time of her life helped a little.

yeah actually that rainbow bridge poem is not that comforting. i feel sad thinking my dog is someplace waiting for me. i know i sound like a loser, but i have to just not think about her to not be sad. i've mourned that dog harder than most other things in my life.

If anything happens to my dog, I don't know what I would do.

I came home really sad the other night and instead of listening and being supportive, H was in my way. I sat down, and that damn dog wiggled his way between the couch and me and looked up as if to say,  "Are you OK, mommy?"

i don;t know how veterinarians do their job. people ugly cry over their pets, and i am sure i have ugly cried over a pet harder than over something more human.

That rainbow bridge poem really made me want to stab someone right after I put Libby down.  I know the person sending it thought she was being thoughtful, but I didn't give 2 shits that Libby might be in heaven waiting for me, I WANTED HER HERE, dammit!

I told my manager that I'd be out for a week. But then maybe being at home would make me sad. It's hard to say. But ugly cry for sure.
