1.  What are your Christmas plans this year?
We are driving up north (45 min away) to spend Christmas afternoon/evening with my mom's side of the family (aunts, uncles, grandma, cousins, etc).

2.  Do you take turns with FI and your Families?  How do you ration "family time?"
We are supposed to, but this year we couldn't go to GA to spend time with FI's family because we are saving $$$$ and paid time off for the wedding and honeymoon.  We alternate Christmases between our two families, but spend Thanksgiving with mine every year since they are local.

3.  What did you get FI for Christmas this year?
I got him a framed Tim Lincecum collage, Lincecum went to UW and FI is a big Giants fan, and a Huskies fan... so I thought it was something good and unexpected.

4.  What do you think he got you?
I think he got me something naughty... He mentioned that it is something I shouldn't open in front of my mom.

5.  Did your office have a Christmas party this year?
Nope, we haven't had one for the past couple years due to budget cuts.

6.  What are your NYE plans?
Staying at home with FI and the furbaby, FI has to work on NY day.

7.  When was the last time you went out/hung out with friends/partied/etc?
Apple Cup, went to a friends house, it was fun.  I NEVER go out any more, it's sad.

8.  What's is your favorite restaurant?
I really like Bandolero in the Tangletown area, FI and I have been going there for brunch and Happy Hour.  It reminds me of a more casual version of Peso's.

9.  What is the ugliest BM dress you've ever seen?  Online and/or IRL

  These that I found online months ago, and emailed my BMs as a possible dress idea/inspiration   They are all kinds of shiny, easter-themed types of wrong!


10.  What do you think of the show Bridalplasty?
I like it, but I like trashy reality shows.  I'm rooting for the girl who got the boobjob, Kristin, I think...

11.  Why don't you post on this board more often?
The board is just slow in general, but I try my best to post on most of the threads and start my own on occasion

12.  What type/color of shoes are you wearing right now?
Boring black work flats, with a little black floral detail on the toes.

A Grande Nonfat Dirty Chai

Bagel with cream cheese

FI, it is extremely rare for me to cook.  He gets home way earlier than I do, and he is a way better cook than me.

It was watching Sing Off, but the season is over now... so Bridalplasty?

No, at least I REALLY hope not.

Ponytail, it was the best I could do, my hair is having an off-day.

jennlin, she's been around the longest and still posts sometimes, and I admire that.

1.  What are your Christmas plans this year?
FI and I are having my parents over for dinner. That's all. But it will be our first year making Christmas dinner. We went shopping last night and it will be delicious!

2.  Do you take turns with FI and your Families?  How do you ration "family time?"
Not really. Last year we spent Christmas with FI's family. Ideally we'd like to do that every other year but there may be some years where it's too expensive. His family lives in Alaska and it's super costly to get there.

3.  What did you get FI for Christmas this year?
I got him a laser level, a new bag for disc golf, and a gift card so he could buy a bunch of stufff online that I didn't order in time.

4.  What do you think he got you?
It's from Amazon and I'm hoping it's a Kindle, but I'm not sure.

5.  Did your office have a Christmas party this year?
Yes, but I didn't go.

6.  What are your NYE plans?
None right now. We stayed home last year so it would be nice to go out!

7.  When was the last time you went out/hung out with friends/partied/etc?
We had a Christmas party at our house on Saturday, but it was small/low key. It's been a long time since I've gotten dressed up and gone out.

8.  What's is your favorite restaurant?
Maya's on Rainier... best Carne Asada.

Nobody responds. Except for like 5 of us... and I appreciate those 5! It's sort of weird how everyone just dropped off the face of the board!

None, I'm at home.

I don't drink coffee, but at Starbucks I LOVE the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate. However, I have to say, it doesn't hold a candle to 7-11 Hot Chocolate. I'm not even kidding )

I had a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich.

15.  Who's making your dinner tonight?
My mom, we're having Lasanga at my parent's house.

Ooh, I don't even know! I think Wednesdays are DVR catch up days.

What a fun post, I love these surveys!

1.  What are your Christmas plans this year?
We are spending Christmas Eve with  my family, and Christmas morning with his, oh and going back to my families for Christmas day dinner with his parents in tow, should be a blast both of our families are a great time!

2.  Do you take turns with FI and your Families?  How do you ration "family time?
We are really lucky that our families are close in proximity and get a long well. We try to split the holidays but since the enagement we have started merging them, my family coming to his events and vice versa.

3.  What did you get FI for Christmas this year?
We got each other a 50" plasma TV for our new house! I also got his an electronic chess board, he is always begging me to play with him and I am really not into chess, so I figure this is a win win.

4.  What do you think he got you?
We made a deal that we would just get each other the TV, I think he may be sticking to the deal.

5.  Did your office have a Christmas party this year?
Yes, and it was a blast! Our company rented out a improve comedy theatre and had a catered dinner. Afterwards most of my co-workers went out to the local bars and continued the party.

6.  What are your NYE plans?
Haven't made any yet, we are pretty low key on NYE. maybe just a romantic date for the two of us? or a family and friends poker party?

Last weekend, company Christmas party

El Gaucho in Bellevue, waiters in full tuxes that escort you to the restroom and the best steak I have ever had!

1.  What are your Christmas plans this year? Two families, two overnight locations...eek. 

2.  Do you take turns with FI and your Families?  How do you ration "family time?" Yes, we're trying to alternate celebrating on the actual days of the holiday each year with each family.

3.  What did you get FI for Christmas this year? We were supposed to have a budget but are always bad at sticking to it.  I got him some bluetooth headphones and several other things.

4.  What do you think he got you? I'm hoping a massage gift cert.

5.  Did your office have a Christmas party this year? We will but in January.  Boo! :-(

6.  What are your NYE plans? Invitation maddness.  FI will be in Belize for his semi-bachelor party thing - more of an excuse for a trip.

7.  When was the last time you went out/hung out with friends/partied/etc?  We're old - try to see friends one on one more often than in groups.  My BFF was in town in early november and we went to a party for her.

8.  What's is your favorite restaurant?  There are so many!  I will say Anthony's because I would eat there all the time if I could afford to.

seafoam green long puffy with pick-ups and shiny - kind of made the BMs look like mermaids.

1.  What are your Christmas plans this year? Second year in a row staying home with FI. I love it. I think it may have to be come an annual tradition.

2.  Do you take turns with FI and your Families?  How do you ration "family time?" We take turns for Thanksgiving. His parents are divorced, but his mom lives one town over from my parents. So we usually stay with my fam, and invite his mom and her husband for Thanksgiving dinner.

3.  What did you get FI for Christmas this year? Since we're buying the house, his real gift is going to be a new fridge . But we did little gifts for each other. I got him a collection of hot sauces (including some of the hottest ones you can buy), two dvds, a large bottle of holiday themed beer, and some other little goodies like candy and razor blades.

4.  What do you think he got you? I'm hoping hoping! for a kindle. He procrastinated on my stocking this year so I know that everything came from Amazon so he could do two-day shipping .

5.  Did your office have a Christmas party this year? nope. my new team did, but decided not to go since I hardly know anyone there yet.

6.  What are your NYE plans? Assuming we close on time, spending it hosting a party at our new place! If we don't, not sure yet. 

7.  When was the last time you went out/hung out with friends/partied/etc? Had friends over last Saturday for our Christmas sweater party.

8.  What's is your favorite restaurant? Hmm, not really sure. Probably sushi, Shiros or Umi.
