Would you return a CL purchase?

My neighbors have a little girls bike parked on their front sidewalk that is for sale.   A few days ago while I was in the front yard a car pulled up,  a little girl test drove the bike, it was loaded up and (I presume) sold.  Today I noticed that the bike is back. 

I wouldn't have the nerve to return a $20 bike.

Maybe they just took it for a test drive? Are there lemon laws in your state?

Maybe your neighbors have several of the same bike and they're selling them one at a time?

Either way, very strange.
