Basically, I don't know yet.
I foolishly sent H to run these errands because the logistics of switching kids around was a mess. After he left, I realized the issuing bank probalby wouldn't let HIM cash MY check.
He just deposited it into our account. Our bank put a hold on it until it clears, but the woman at the issuing bank ran a balance check and said the account did have sufficient funds.
So, as long as a jillion other checks don't clear in the meantime, we should be good. Hopefully I'll have the real all-clear by Wednesday or so. I am not marking my invoice "paid" until then.
