What inspirations do you have for the first dance song?
I always loved the song "I Never" by Rilo Kiley and thought it would be beautiful for a first dance, though with timed I've realized it's more about the girl's side of a story and not so much as a couple's story. Does that matter??
And since I'm a sucker for classics, "At Last" by Etta James will never cease to give me goosebumps. What a beautiful song!
However, I've realized I now have other issues with our first dance song and any other major songs to be played. The majority of our crowd only speaks Spanish here and I'm pretty sure they have a different list of what is considered to be first dance classics. Eek! I have no clue what they are haha! And I do think it's a bit important cuz the best part of these songs are the beautiful lyrics, and if you can't understand them.. well then the point has been defied. But anyway.... I'll have to figure that one out!
