Cost of uplighting

Hi ladies,
Anybody have any insight as to the cost of uplighting for wedding reception. Any range of what the cost could be? All help appreciated.

Back a billion years ago when I got married (okay, 2 years) it cost us about $700-$1000 or so for uplighting.

We are interested in using tall glass cylinders with submerged orchids in water with a tea light candle at top. Does anyone know aproximate cost for these? Anybody use the same and can reccomend a florist in the philadelphia area?

<div>Ours is costing $750 but that's because we booked through our DJ and he cut us an AMAZING deal. Other quotes I got seemed to start at around $1000 for what we wanted (entire room LED uplighting, monogrammed gobo, etc).</div>

Our lighting is arranged/provided by the venue and it costs an additional $875. We got a discount for booking during a certain time period but that's how much it usually cost per the price list.
