What would happen if I put a quick bread batter in a frying pan and tried to make a pancake?  I have some TJ's cranberry bread mix in the cabinet and I'm craving pancakes something terrible.

Hrm...the yeast would make it weird, if there is yeast.  I would think.

there is no yeast.  quick breads use baking soda or baking powder.

zsa, this sounds terrible.  just make pancakes.

HA.  I apparently NEVER use quick bread mixes.  It's not hard to make up a pancake mix by scratch, zsa.

if you want terrible pancakes, why don't you just eat a small bag of flour?

Not easier, I just want to try it.  If I mix pancake batter it won't have oranges and cranberries in it.  :P
