But B2B said "She is a bugger anymore, I can email you a clip of her screaming if you like. It is annoying and if I put her upstairs it is quieter"

Well, to each their own.  Although I would never complain about my work anywhere online (because I'm overly paranoid that my employer will find it and fire me!), not everyone feels that way and they're free to do whatever they want.  Right or wrong, this is the internet....the most unregulated place on earth...and there's no use in getting all worked up over someone else's actions here.  

Confession:  I pay $55/mo on a gym membership that I have not used in MONTHS!  I also gained 10 lbs over the past 6 months.  FML!

I do not think she mentioned everyone had to agree and be happy. We just don't bash one another. Women do this all too often, and we've made this a positive place where we feel comfortable enough with one another to vent, confess, AW and write open letters. Usually if there is something directed to one person, we PM (Private Message) them, so that way it's not completely all over the board for personal reasons.

I love that it's okay for you to criticize what someone else puts up on a message board, but that once people respond to what you've posted, you're very defensive.

And I am definitely one to vent about work/AW when I'm going to slack a bit because it's a vent/confession post! From what you read of my posts, it might seem like I don't love my job/am a lazy slob/whatever. But I LOVE my job and the students I work with. I, like almost everyone else, just don't come on here to brag about how awesome my meeting was this morning, or how excited I am to start planning our leadership programs for next semester. Because that's not a vent.

Okay, rant over. LeeBee, I don't recall you introducing yourself. If you want to be a welcome contributor to this board, I recommend you introduce yourself, tell us about your wedding, and leave your personal attacks at the door.

I just don't understand this statement. How is my call out to her any different than the bitching she does herself for everyone to see? And besides posting her rants, she posts pictures identifying the child.
To any/all of you.. can you honestly say you would not be angry if you came across your nanny's posts that said stuff like hers? And i'm not talking just todays posts..there have been a ton of others.

I just asked B2B (nicely) the other day in another post if the parents mind that she shares pictures and stories, etc on the internet.  Supposedly the parents don't care, and actually like to see the pictures (and outrageous video) that she puts online... it keeps them updated/connected with their kid while they're at work. 

I don't understand why all of a sudden you come out of lurking to post about B2B.... and only about her.  Where's the beef?

And again, I get it, everyone bitches about their job, but I think it was the fact that B2B posted pictures of the girl..it’s no longer private. Would you ever post pics of your students?

MH - i am sure she is not directing them to these boards to get their daily updates on her.

Its just something that has bothered me about her posts regarding the child...and I feel bad for the girl, so I guess thats my beef. I guess I more look at it as a mother, because I've had to go through the nanny interview process...and I can tell you I would be seriously disturbed if I saw my nanny write stuff like that.

I think this is B2B's problem.  Not really yours. 

I confess I think you might be a regular poster hiding behind another screen name.  If you are- that's cool.  You do what you gotta do.

Not that I care about others post but I agree with leebee - I think posting pics of someone elses kids is not cool.

I boycotted NY&CO from about 2003-2010.   I felt the clothes quality had gone downhill as well.   I gave them a shot again a few months ago, and so far I am very impressed with the quality.  I think they may have gone through an overhaul and I am pleased so far!

I think it depends on the individual person and their relationship with their boss or in this case, the parents.  Personally, I would not be happy with someone posting anything about my child online...pictures, videos, information about where they were going, etc. However, that's me.  If I knew my nanny was doing it, we would have a problem.  But if B2B's boss knows about it and has given it the okay, then that's a decision that parent has made.
