I only ended up getting through part of one book on the trip. It blows chunks to haul eight books across country for nothing...I packed for a completely different trip than the one I ended up taking.
The one book I got into is Margaret Cho's 'I have chosen to stay and fight.'
I don't know what I thought it would be about, but it isn't what I thought it would be. I thought it would be funny stories, and while she uses humor, it isn't what I would call a funny book. It is about politics, race, gender/feminism and equal rights. I would recommend this book to others.
The remaining chapters are entitled Family Values, What Would Howie Do, The Right To Life, and Why I Have Chosen To Stay And Fight. Also, there is a chapter of updates.
I also managed to acquire two books on this trip. I am shipping them back with the china and other stuff from my mom's house. H and I are going to need a bigger boat.
