Ideas for incorporating pictures into our reception

Hi everyone,
My FI and I want to include a lot of pictures of us throughout our relationship (his idea!), and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of how to do this. I love the clothesline idea, but my reception venue is a little more formal, and I don't think it will flow nicely.

We are having pictures as our table numbers of every mountain that we've climbed together (luckily we've taken pictures at the top of all of them!)

Can anyone help?

Have you seen those square vases that you put a photo in on each side?  I think it might be overkill to have them at your tables with the summit pictures, but you could use them with a small flower arrangement at cocktail tables, the escort card table, etc.  Here is an example of one that also is a cake topper: http://www.amazon.com/Cathys-Concepts-Square-Glass-Photo/dp/B003NYZ0JG

I like the vases, but my FI doesn't want to have our faces all over things at the reception, so we're not using them at all, but I was thinking about it for a while.

For your guest book, you could do a scrapbook and have guests sign that.  My SIL did something like that.  People flipped through the pages and looked at all the pictures.  Plus, it's a nice book afterwards.  You might be more inclined to look at it more often than a regular guest book.

Depends on the # of pictures but if it's a small number and an elegant venue.... take 8 or 10 of the best shots, have them elarged to 11" x 16" or bigger and mount each one in a frame. Then have them displayed somewhere along the entrance where you guest can view them as they walk into the reception area.
