We are getting married on a Thursday with our immediate family only (My fiance is active duty military stationed overseas). We are planning a post wedding reception the following Sunday afternoon from 1-4 so that people can go to church in the morning if they wish. We have the venue and caterer and are serving a full buffet lunch. What I need is some ideas for the reception.
We want a laid back, casual atmosphere with our families and closest friends (max people 75). Our theme is a fall / autumn leaves, as in turning over a new leaf on life together. There is no bridal party, etc. We are not planning on doing a bouquet toss or garter toss.
Any ideas are welcome to help us with a timeline of events or ideas for the reception.
