Garter and Bouquet toss

We have very few single people, like only one single younger lady and like 4 young men. I want to do a garter toss, not needing the bouquet sooo much but I think with 4 people it would defeat the purpose right?

Re: Garter and Bouquet toss

  • If I were your one single female friend and you made me get out on the floor alone I would be mortified even if I were the sort of person who loves the bouquet toss.  Being one of four single men wouldn't be much better.  Skip it.
  • I think you have to consider why you want to do it. In my personal opinion, it's a thing of the past and if you are already having doubts about how people feel I think that's your answer. I know anytime I was made to go on the dance floor because I was single I was mortified! Plus, without doing the garter/bouquet toss you are making more time to dance!!!!
  • Since there are so few single people I'd skip it.

  • You could present the bouquet to the couple at your reception who has been together the longest.
