I just got engaged about a month ago and I am trying to figure out where to have it. His family and my family live about 3 hours away from each. Both of our families (not our parents) will not ttravel more than 1 1/2 away from their home town. Should I try to please both families by having it somewhere in the middle or should i have it where i want it? I just want both families to have a chance to come and not exclude them by having it at place where I know they won't come.
