Fall Wedding

Ok so we are having our wedding in a rustic location overlooking a beautiful lake October 26, 2013.  I am looking for wedding color ideas.  I do not want to do the traditional orange, red yellow fall scheme.  I am thinking rustic yet romantic and whimisical.  I have two of my bridesmaids with mocha colored skin and the original thought of blush pink is not working on them.  Oh what to do.  I am a visual person and need ideas!  All of the pictures online are overwhelming.  Brown, tan(burlap), cream are the basis colors.  What do you guys think???UndecidedThanks Kate!

Re: Fall Wedding

  • Try www.theperfectpallet.com, they let you search schemes by color, and give really neat examples.

This is my favorite that matches your description, but they have hundreds.

  • Ditch the blush pink and go with something much richer like the PP's suggestion. Cranberry would be gorgeous. Maybe use gold accents.
  • Why not go with some rich purples? You could do a brown color and accent with bright flowers like these http://pinterest.com/pin/17873729741921124/

Plus rich purples look good on everyone!
  • Hi Kate!

I, too, am having my wedding on Oct. 26th 2013 at Lake Lindsay's Kayla's Korner. I am tossing around the colors of beige, champagne, off white, dark browns, or even a sage color. I don't want to do fall colors either :(.

    I hope this helps!

    Megan

  • <div>I had a fall wedding as well and completely said screw the fall theme dull stuff!  I think colors like coral, gold, ivory, peach, champagne, taupe, cream, maroon, wine, I really liked pink so I did that too.  With your friends I think coral would look great on that skin tone here are some pictures to help with ideas!</div><div>
