ok so i may be the only person in the world who doesn't get this, but i haven't been to a lot of "sit down" reception dinners. my fiance and i are planning one, so my question is this....
i understand labeling each chair at a table so the person knows where to sit, or even making a list of who goes at which table if i'm not so strict about the actual seats...
my problem is, how do you tell the person they are at that table. it just seems dumb to think about all my friends and family wondering around looking at every single place setting to find their name. how do i remedy this situation? i mean i'm picturing a map hung on the wall with your name on a "drawn-to-scale" table. that can't be right.
