Would these centerpieces look silly in Sept?

I want to use non-floral items to limit the number of actual flowers I use in mycenterpieces to keep costs down. I thought of circular Christmas ornaments in my colors (the deep purple below and tan). Would these look funny at a September wedding?

Those are perfect!!!!!  I love it.  You should go with it. I think it would look great in September. This is your day, do what you feel.  Maybe you should put a table number on the table (with the number typed in one of those colors) also add  a menu card to the table in a small frame.

I love the idea! Just because they're Christmas Ornaments, as long as they aren't in Christmas colors then probably no one will even know!

I think its a great idea and you can get leftover ornaments for cheap. To help them look less like ornaments I would try hiding the top hook part. Just tuck it under a flower. Great idea!

I'm considering something similar for my March wedding. I think if you remove the hooks or hide them it would look better as PP suggested.

Maybe if they were red and green they would look silly, but that looks really nice.

Thanks, ladies! That's exactly what I wanted to hear, haha.

Removing the silver part is a good idea. I was thinking of turning the ornaments on their sides or upside down so you couldn't see it.

I think that is an awesome and clever idea. I haven't seen anything like it before. Those are bright and will look really nice for your Sept wedding.
