I bought these really cute wedding flip flops months ago and it has always been my plan to wear them.
BUT my mom just bought wedges for the wedding and now she's going to be a lot taller than me! Silly, I know, but I don't want to look like a midget in the pictures. My mom and I are about the same height, but FI's mom is way taller, and so are all the men. I will be really really short looking in the photos if my mom wears heels and I wear the flip flops.
Do wedges really work in the sand? I have a pair of wedges that I really love that the top part is leather, but it's a nice light blue (like on the flip flops) and looks good with the color teal on my sash. I'm just afraid that I'll throw my ankle out if I try to wear them and that the flip flops are the safer choice.
Thoughts? What are you wearing? Flats, wedges, heels, something else?
