So FI & I had the meeting with the building inspector regarding our floor in our apartment. We have been complaining for months that there is something wrong even after it was completely replaced. The inspector said that it is safe but they did a shoddy job when replacing it. Now the apartment owners have to hire an engineer to draw up plans, take out a building permit and fix everything that is wrong. Sucks for them!! I can't wait to hear what the corporate office says now!!
In the end the building ispector gave us piece of mind that: (1) we aren't crazy and there is something wrong with the floor, and (2) even though there is something wrong with the floor we are not going to fall through it any time soon.
