I need opinions. We want to wed Oct. 2012 on the beach. I really want our colors to be white, black and red. He is a firefighter, so we want his groom's cake to be firefighter theme that is red velvet-his grandmother used to make it for him. Also, our signature "cocktail" is an apple pie type drink, so I was thinking of incorporating red apples at the reception. Is this too much?
