Hotels Near/In Carmel Valley, CA

I'm getting married at Bernardus in April, and I need to reserve a block of rooms for my out-of-town guests. I'd love it if all my guests could afford to stay at Bernardus, but at $300+ a night, it just isn't an option for some people. Can you recommend any hotels in the area that are less? All feedback appreciated, thank you!

i'm not sure where it is in relation to your venue, but my FI and I stayed at the Carmel Mission Inn 2 years ago and it was lovely.  wasn't in the "downtown" area, but easily a 5 min drive if people wanted to go there, so it was nice and quiet and affordable (I think the room was under 150/night but it was 2 years ago so I don't remember exactly.
