anyone do a boudoir shoot?

I'm starting to get tempted by all of these Groupon and Living Social deals I see for boudoir photo shoots. I've never done anything like that before and think it'd be a fun gift for my fiance.

Now that I'm looking more into the deals, it seems like a lot of the Groupon and Living Social deals aren't that great. There was a Living Social today for a shoot that includes two photos, but if you want to buy the digital files it's $850! Seems like most are just a bait and switch to get you in there so you have the shoot and then buy more photos.

Anyway, has anyone done a boudoir shoot with a photographer they'd reccomend in the San Jose area/peninsula area? I really can't spend a lot since we're already spending a ton on the wedding, but I'd like to walk away with more than one or two photos for several hundreds of dollars.

Also, if you've done one, is it as fun as it seems? Worth it?

I did a boudior shoot with my photographer.  She is very inexpensive and does great work.  She will give you all of the full size, digital files. She can do a print package as well, but won't require it.  She will normally work with you with whatever your budget is. If you want to spend a couple hundred, she can give you less or more.

It was VERY fun.  Being a plus sized girl, I was a little self conscious. You can bring someone if you want, to help "stage" you and help you feel comfortable if you want.  I did and it was awesome. We were all laughing and joking around most of the time.

<div>These are great! Thanks so much for sharing. I wish I could do one with my photographer, but I don't think he does boudoir and while I'm very comfortable with him, I don't think I would be for that. Lol. Anyway, I'll get in touch with her to find out more. Thanks!</div>

This is the website of my photographer. I know that she didn't include the price on her website but I just received an email from her yesterday regarding boudoir pictures.

She charges between $125 - $370 depending on what you want. Super nice but a bit slow in term of responding, approximately a day or two. But she will respond :)

This is her work that got published on the magazine.

    Good luck!
