Heed our warning: DO NOT hold your wedding reception at the Beda Place in Meadow Vista, 8 mi. from Auburn, CA. Outdoor venue: Beautiful. Reception hall limited. Had about 90 people & we were squeezed in with barely room to dance & have a buffet line. Propriorter is nonresponsive and not truthful. He is NOT after making this the most wonderful day of your life. Forced the father of the groom to leave the reception to get ice, caterer was 1 1/2-2 hrs. late and left over food was stolen & then we were lied to about it's disappearance. Paid a lot of money up front and then were dinged for minor things on a constant basis. This man, single handedly, almost ruined our wedding! On the other hand, we stayed 2 nights at The Powers Mansion INN in Auburn & were treated like royal family! So wish that our reception had been there! Reception hall much better appointed and know that the staff there would have bent over backwards to make our special day as it should have been!
